Step 1. Add the JitPack repository to your build file
Add it in your root settings.gradle at the end of repositories:
dependencyResolutionManagement {
repositoriesMode.set(RepositoriesMode.FAIL_ON_PROJECT_REPOS)
repositories {
mavenCentral()
maven { url 'https://jitpack.io' }
}
}
Add it in your settings.gradle.kts at the end of repositories:
dependencyResolutionManagement {
repositoriesMode.set(RepositoriesMode.FAIL_ON_PROJECT_REPOS)
repositories {
mavenCentral()
maven { url = uri("https://jitpack.io") }
}
}
Add to pom.xml
<repositories>
<repository>
<id>jitpack.io</id>
<url>https://jitpack.io</url>
</repository>
</repositories>
Add it in your build.sbt at the end of resolvers:
resolvers += "jitpack" at "https://jitpack.io"
Add it in your project.clj at the end of repositories:
:repositories [["jitpack" "https://jitpack.io"]]
Step 2. Add the dependency
dependencies {
implementation 'com.github.GeorgeMe:trakt-java:v3.3.1'
}
dependencies {
implementation("com.github.GeorgeMe:trakt-java:v3.3.1")
}
<dependency>
<groupId>com.github.GeorgeMe</groupId>
<artifactId>trakt-java</artifactId>
<version>v3.3.1</version>
</dependency>
libraryDependencies += "com.github.GeorgeMe" % "trakt-java" % "v3.3.1"
:dependencies [[com.github.GeorgeMe/trakt-java "v3.3.1"]]
A Java wrapper around the trakt API using retrofit.
Remote services are grouped into local service objects which can be centrally
managed by a Trakt
instance. It will act as a factory for
all of the services and will automatically initialize them with your
credentials and API key.
The released jar is built without dependencies, add these yourself as you see fit. For example in a gradle.build file:
compile 'com.squareup.okhttp:okhttp:1.2.1' // not mandatory, but greatly recommended
compile 'com.squareup.retrofit:retrofit:1.2.2'
Trakt trakt = new Trakt();
trakt.setAuthentication("username", "sha1_of_password");
trakt.setApiKey("api_key");
// Get trending shows on trakt
List<TvShow> shows = trakt.showService().trending();
for (TvShow show : shows) {
System.out.println("Title: " + show.title);
}
// Post an episode as seen
Response response = trakt.showService().episodeSeen(new ShowService.Episodes(
153021 // TVDb id of show, 1 // season, 1 // episode
));
if (response != null && response.status == Status.SUCCESS) {
System.out.println("Successfully checked into show.");
}
