goxr3plus/java-speech-api

The J.A.R.V.I.S. Speech API is designed to be simple and efficient, using the speech engines created by Google to provide functionality for parts of the API. Essentially, it is an API written in Java, including a recognizer, synthesizer, and a microphone capture utility. The project uses Google services for the synthesizer and recognizer. While this requires an Internet connection, it provides a complete, modern, and fully functional speech API in Java.

Step 1. Add the JitPack repository to your build file

Add it in your root settings.gradle at the end of repositories:

	dependencyResolutionManagement {
		repositoriesMode.set(RepositoriesMode.FAIL_ON_PROJECT_REPOS)
		repositories {
			mavenCentral()
			maven { url 'https://jitpack.io' }
		}
	}

Add it in your settings.gradle.kts at the end of repositories:

	dependencyResolutionManagement {
		repositoriesMode.set(RepositoriesMode.FAIL_ON_PROJECT_REPOS)
		repositories {
			mavenCentral()
			maven { url = uri("https://jitpack.io") }
		}
	}

Add to pom.xml

	<repositories>
		<repository>
		    <id>jitpack.io</id>
		    <url>https://jitpack.io</url>
		</repository>
	</repositories>

Add it in your build.sbt at the end of resolvers:

    resolvers += "jitpack" at "https://jitpack.io"

Add it in your project.clj at the end of repositories:

    :repositories [["jitpack" "https://jitpack.io"]]

Step 2. Add the dependency

	dependencies {
		implementation 'com.github.goxr3plus:java-speech-api:v2.02'
	}
	dependencies {
		implementation("com.github.goxr3plus:java-speech-api:v2.02")
	}
	<dependency>
	    <groupId>com.github.goxr3plus</groupId>
	    <artifactId>java-speech-api</artifactId>
	    <version>v2.02</version>
	</dependency>

    libraryDependencies += "com.github.goxr3plus" % "java-speech-api" % "v2.02"

    :dependencies [[com.github.goxr3plus/java-speech-api "v2.02"]]
